Even the Chest-Blessed Can Enjoy Unrestrictive Support While Running
If your pre-running or pre-workout regimen involves layering at least one sports bra under a workout top with a shelf-bra, you may be able to find pain and compression relief with an Enell Sports Bra.
After training for short and long distance races and participating in outdoor activities for years with resulting pain from insufficient support, I finally gave up on the layering approach and tried out an Enell Sports
Bra.
I will never go back.
The pros: It's supportive as all get out without restricting your breathing nearly as much as layered sports bras and tops.
It actually breathes pretty effectively and doesn't chafe or pinch.
The cons: It's not pretty. But, it does make you look better when you're competing or exercising because it holds you firmly in place and doesn't allow for hideous jiggling.
It's not for all-day wear. I don't think I'd wear this for an all day race because the strangulation factor around the ribcage starts to come into play after about 4 hours. But that's just motivation to get your marathon time in the 3s.
It's a tad pricey. But, since you're not going to buy any more workout tops with shelf bras, you can save the money there.
After testing this product out on short and long runs, and feeling the difference in how my back and chest feel after workouts, I've pitched all my shelf-bra tops and will be enjoying the freedom of running with support and without pain.
