Thursday 17th February

Hello, and I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day. I, of course, was falling over the post when I came in from work - I wish. Well actually I don't wish. I am happy with me and my friends and family loving me. I don't wish for secret admirers. The Enell sport has continued to go off the shelves like hot cakes and I feel I am getting a reputation for always having the sizes in or a very short wait if  I don't. Once more I have sold out of two sizes this week, the 3 & 4 in pink. Well done all you ladies for choosing the correct support. I am also setting up a 'Bargain Bucket'. Some bras do get returned with the labels off which I can't sell as new so I figure if I set up a bargain bucket it might help those less fortunate in the financial stakes might be able to afford to choose a better bra.

Underground Fitness is right around the corner now. I am incredibly busy writing timetables for the classes, meeting builders, signage men, flooring men etc. Why are there no women n these jobs I wonder? I can not imagie being able to get it all together by the time it needs to be. I am so looking forward to it though - it really will be my dream and I just pray that this year of hardship won't be for nothing...I am sure it won't. I have a great PR team working with me to ensure Undergound Fitness is a success. My new tag line? More than just a gym...and I will be.

Thursday 27th January

Something has just happened that has made me feel warm inside. I have received a parcel stuffed full of bras with a thank you card. This is why we do things for charity - for that lovely, warm feeling of doing something for others. Funnily enough it is the same amount of bras that I turfed out of my drawer. Thank you so much - you know who you are.

January has started off with a big bang, as is expected and I have another order from Enell arriving today. I am going to have to train up my daughter once Underground Fitness opens as I know I won't have the time needed to give that personal touch that I am so proud of. I have been attending lots ot motivating networking groups and women are so good at giving the personal touch that gives that little bit extra when serving a customer. We should all be proud of who we are and what we give to others. If you don't feel proud of who you are then start that change now. It is never too late.

Monday 17th January

Well, where did those two months go? They have just flown. They have also been an interesting 2 months for me - a proper roller coaster. I am not a Christmassy person. I love it when it gets here but I am a proper scrooge in the run up. I just can not bear the crouds, the rudeness, the pushing and shoving. I am glad it is over although, I had a wonderful Christmas with my family and a fabulous New Year playing silly games.

Back to the grindstone now though and I found out that I have had a virus on my site through most of December - that will explain the lack of orders then? Thankfully it is now a happy site again and I have had so many orders for the Enell Sport I have sold out of size 1 in two colours!! Fantastic - but totally unexpected so my order has been placed today which should be with me by Friday...not too long. I had a call from a customer who had been told by another company (I am naming no names but it makes me feel soooo good) they would have to wait 6 weeks!!! Ridiculous. Enell always post out the day they receive the order and it only takes 4-5 days to arrive.Enell also have a new marketing strategy - Support For Life which I am pleased to be involved in. Underground Fitness has finally got the go ahead from the bank and all the paperwork has been signed off last Monday. I have been having meetings with builders and mezzanine floor men and hope to be up and running  by mid February. It will also give me a shop front to sell Sportjock and Enell from, which I am very excited about. Whatch for links coming soon for fitness tips and information. See you soon :D

Saturday 20th November.

Good morning blog watchers. Ohh I am a tired buster today having watched Children in Need last night. What a wonderful night it was. An offer will be going on the site today - For every Enell Sport, Enell Lite, Sportjock Action or Sportjock Super purchased in the next two weeks, I will give £3.00 to Cildren in Need. Look out for the response on the site in a fortnight. I have also had a great success doing an event, the REPS Convention in the North. My nae is getting out there with all your help - Thank you. Watch Alison Hammond in I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! Remember she wears the Enell Sport for her LBD challenge on ITV. This should help her get into it if nothing else - beans and rice for a fortnight? Yuck!. Off to a step class so I will see you all soon. Take care xx

7th November

The autumnal weather is upon us along with  the dark nights. The amount of runners I have nearly knocked over already this year due to them wearing black or dark colours? Cyclist too for that matter. Please all of you, keep safe and make sure you wear  dayglo covers over your gear. I know it isn't particulary attractive, similar to the Enell sports bra actually, but it makes a huge amount of difference as to whether you are seen or not. I am coming to the end of my road trial for the new panache sport. It washes well, even in the machine, and I have also tumble dried it, against advice, and it came out really well. We will probably have to replace it more often than if you hand wash and dry separately, that's all. Personally I would rather do that than faff with hand washing. Who has the time these days? My personal training studio, Underground Fitnessnow has a logo and funding. Paperwork to be signed and then we are off - builders in, painting done, equipment in place. It is all very exciting but I am not smiling yet - not untl all the boxes have been ticked. Take care out there xx

Wednesday 27th October

Unfortunately the running woman isn't wearing an Enell sport or a Sportjock but she hasn't particularly large breasts anyway so the sports bra she is wearing is giving her good support. I wonder what it is?

Tuesday 26th October

Here we are crashing into winter. The Enell sport in Hope is selling a storm with the offer of the free aluminium drinks bottle, so those not purchased yet, hurry up as stocks are dwindling. I am now road trialling the Panache sport and it is wearing really well. It washes great and, even though you shouldn't, as with all bras, I have put it in the tumble dryer and it has come out well. The sales in Sportjock have aso increased this week for some strange reason Could it be the new violet colour which is just gorgeous?!

Monday 11th October

Hello bounce-busters. I seriously do not know where the time goes in my world. It just flies by. I must be having a good time that's all I can say. Well, I went to Leicester Rugby ground last Tuesday and I have to say I had a ball. Those four ladies are lovely and I can already see that they have lost weight. We had such a giggle stuffing them into their Enell Sports bras. Those of you already in the know will understand. The first time an Enell Sports bra is tried on it is quite an acheivement just getting into it isn't it? They felt like they had had a workout before they even went out on the pitch! As always the Enell did its job and even Alison Hammond was well under control which is not an easy task with the size of her puppies. I stayed around for a while to check the job was a good one - confirmed as they ran up, yes ran up the steps to the third tier of seating and then made my way home feeling very satisfied. Mission accomplished. 

It has also been my daughters birthday - 30th September. My baby girl is now 15. She is already asking when can she have her tummy button pierced. I want to say NEVER but I know that will only make her want it more. Thankfully I have another year before she can have it done legally without my consent. How can she want that lovely place where I blow raspberries pierced?

Saturday 25th September

What an exciting week I have had. On Monday I went to Loughborough to trial what is going to be THE BEST SPORTS BRA. It was brilliant. It came out top in all the tests but on a par with the Enell Sport. Unfortunately they can't put the Enell in with the test results as it isn't cup sized but I took mine along anyway just to check it against the competition. It is so nice to be proved right - wait for the video footage coming soon to You Tube. Some of it is not pretty - like puppies in a sack. Then yesterday I got a call from ITV to bra up 4 women doing the LBD Bootcamp. I am going to Leicester on Tuesday to fit them with their Enell sports. Bless them, they need it. Bouncing around all over the place they were. So - will this be my 15 seconds of fame or will it lead to other things? Who knows but I feel like the cheshire cat. I just smile and smile every time I think of it. A great week. The Enell Sport Hope comes with a free drinks bottle in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I have them piled up - so come on ladies help me out here - I keep tripping over the darn things. Sunday 19th September

Oh wow I am so excited.  The bra fits! It fits! It is fantastic!. The bra that I told you about - the brand new sports bra being developed by....can I tell you yet? Okay, it is Panache. Well I went to try it on again on Friday and my goodness...oh gosh it is so good. We are all so excited by this. It feels as supportive as the Enell but it is better. It gives you shape as well as the fantastic support. Nothing bounced and it was so comfortable. I am off to Loughborough on Monday for the treadmll trials so watch this space. I will let you know how it goes. I can not wait. I am hoping they will let me video it so you can have a look for yourselves. Update coming soon.

Tuesday 13th September

Oh it is good to be home! We have been to Turkey for a last minute cheap get away. At this moment in time I never want to go back there ever again. There is a bunus though - I lost 5 lbs - Result! I did take my faithful black Enell with the intention of working out in the 'fitness room'. One bicycle and a very wonky rickety multigym meant that didn't happen...but I still lost weight. It was far too hot to run so I had to make do with sea swimming, the only part of the holiday where I felt well. I am still not right and am seeing the doc this morning. It's just not good is it? So now I am playing catch up with the business and the bank - ooh don't talk to me about banks. They say yes one day and then sorry but no, they need some more information. This feels like it has been forever and I can't believe it has taken so long. I was hoping to open in May and here we are in September still not knowing where the money is coming from to build my studio. One day I will laugh at all of this...one day. I have ordered some more pink bras to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A free drinks bottle comes with each one bought while stocks last so watch the site for the promotion. All for now - the doctors are calling. I will elt you know how I get on.:)  

Saturday 21st August

Well, hello. The trip to Loughborough was cancelled as the bra isn't ready yet. Again, I will keep you up to date with progress. I am going on holiday hooray! My husband has very kindly booked us a holiday in Turkey, 12K from Bodrum so I plan to run every day to make up for the fully inclusive fayre that I will be eating. I haven't had a break for 18 months so I am really looking forward to some proper R & R - heaven!!. Underground Fitness is a little closer to starting after finally getting finance agreed from several places rather than all in one. It seems a mad way to do it to me but hey ho. Bra sales have slowed due to holidays as expected so I have spent time with my children guilt free. It has been lovely. Well I hope the sun comes out for us soon so winter doesn't come upon us without feeling like we have had a summer, as is the norm in beautiful Britain. I will update before I go and happy holidays all.

Monday 2nd August

Oh my legs! Ouch! In my mission to look and feel a bit fitter I am left unable to sit or stand without varying degrees of agony. Serves me right! I had another fitting of the brand new sports bra on Friday. I am soo excited...it really is going to be fantastic. I will be travelling to Loughborough next week for the treadmill test where I will be wired up to check for movement. The designer is determined to make this the best sports bra ever made. I will also be wearing  all the popular ones around at the moment for a compare. I will let you all know how I go on but in my experience I think the competion is pretty weak for us big girls. 7ibs to lose. Spinning tomorrow morning - oh joy!

Saturday 24th July

Well I have been for my first run this week that I have been on for 7 months due to my ever expanding waistline while I get Underground Fitness up and running. On went my Enell Sport (size 1 but only just) and I met my friend (size 00 the witch). Oh my goodess - I honestly thought I was going to die! We set off at a pace far too fast for my lazy legs and by the time we got a quarter of the way out I thought my head would explode! I was pleased that I managed to keep going and finished 11K in an hour and 10 minutes. My 10K used to be under 50 minutes so I am now on a mission.I have had a funding interview this week as well which went positively so I am still confident September will be the opening of Underground Fitness and a place to sell the bras from. I need to have lost a stone by then so up and running I will be, leading with my chest knowing no bouncing is going on to put drivers off!

Saturday 10th July

Oh what a beautiful morning! I am up early today due to my husband playing golf and am on the patio listening to the birds drinking my morning tea and being rubbed by my cats. Pure heaven.

Business has picked up again. The start of the World cup and it seemed the world went away. Not a single order for 2 weeks and only one in the third. Amazing! I kept going into the site to make sure it was working. I thought something had gone wrong. But no - women everywhere either went away or were shouting at the telly with the boys. I will be cheering Spain on tomorrow, only because I lived there for a year and had a lovely time. I speak more Spanish than Dutch! 

I am at present working towards opening a Personal Training Studio, Underground Fitness. It will have a Pilates studio on the second floor with two treatment rooms, physiotherapy/ sports and beauty therapy. This has been ongoing for 6 months and I have everything in place apart from the funding to build the thing - it is an empty box at the moment. I am very excited as it will also give Bounce Busters a premises to sell from rather than just a web site. Being able to fit Enell and Sportjock on site will benefit both the customer by taking the worry regarding "have I chosen the right size" and myself knowing my customer is happy withe the choice and fit. I will let you know what happens and if you are passing you will be able to call in and I can put a face to the order! How good would that be? Update soon :)

Monday 5th July

Well, another week has been lost but here I am a fortnight later wondering where it went. I have been mortified to find out that an incorrect setting has meant that all payments not through PAYPAL have gone through as test transactions so not credited to my bank account. Very frustrating for me. A very apologetic e-mail was sent to all customers who had paid this way requesting that they put the order through again with a discount for their trouble. How many replies have I had? Two. Yes, only two. There was I putting faith in human nature, honesty, integrity and I am left sorely disappointed. So all of you there wearing your Enell bras or Sportjocks for free, I hope you get pleasure knowing that what goes around comes around and I keep the faith.

On a more uplifting note, I have had my first Canadian sale - welcome Canada - and have a positve response for my request for testimonials which I have added to the site. There are so many of you that are pleased with your purchase and service received and I feel happy to know that I am doing a good job. 

Our world cup efforts are well over, Wimbledon finished, so back to normal life. Take care in the sunshine.

Tuesday 22nd June

I feel like I have only just come down from Sunday. I am so proud of my girl. Two years ago I dragged her round kicking and screaming. This year she ran it all with little encouragement from me - just jolly singing. We wore pink bras and were proud. I wore The Enell Sport in Hope and my girl wore the Sportjock Super in pink. Lots of fancy dress all for a very good cause. Great fun. Pictures are coming but I can't work out how to put them on. Hello Mr Web Man. Can you help me please?Anyone who has more pics I would love to see them and put them on the site. Watch this space:)

Sunday 20th June

What a fantastic Race For LIfe! What a lovely day full stop. I ran my Race For Life with my girl and her best friend today - so uplifting. A wall of pink and beautiful ladies. Will update more tomorrow. I am soooo proud.

Friday 11th June

Many apologies for those following - I have been so busy I haven't had a moment to write. Bounce Busters has gone International with orders from Norway, Sweden and even Iceland. It has been amazing to communicate with people so far away and help them choose the right sports bra. The Enell Sport is turning out to be the best seller and I have even run out of stock this week and had to place an emergency order. Thank you Enell in America for being so quick in delivery. I have also sold alot of the pink Enell. I put this down to the Race For Life and the Moonwalk - both being pink wearing activities and I shall berunning the Race For Life myself with my daughter and her friend to raise as much as I can for such a worthy charity. Every Enell Hope sold sends a donation to the American version of the same charity so all is good. My stock is full again so I am prepared for a busy weekend. The Sportjock Action and Sportjock Super also come in pink which I will be putting my girls in for their Race For Life so come on you lot - no excuses for not wearing pink!  Bank Holiday Monday, May 31st

Well you may have noticed I have been missing for a week. Last weekend I went to visit an old school friend and thankfully picked the best weekend of the year to do it in. Just beautiful and a good time was had by all.  Unfortunately between my last blog and this I have found  blip on my site which stops sales going through - most frustrating. This has now been fixed and I got my first order for 3 weeks through from Italy. Bon Giorno Italia! My first Enell size 8 too. I will ask her for a testimonial as the largest I have fitted personally is an Enell size 6. Photos? Maybe. Now there is an idea - get my more confident ladies to show off their bounce-busters and display them on the site. Watch this space ladies and be ready to get your best, sporting photos out. Sportjock Action for action shots! Oooh, we could have a page for each bra type - Enell Lite for Liter Exercise shots, Enell Sport for Supportive shots, Sportjock Super for super action shots and the D3?....mmm might have to think on that one. Dying through exercise? Depleted through exercise? Death by exercise? Give me a week, I will think of something. In the meantime if anyone would like to help me out please mail me.  Tuesday May 17th

Two years ago today my family flew to Dubai to visit my sister, but also to get married. I can not believe how time flies when you are busy. Two years!

How is life in the bra industry? Well, it is good thankyou. I have my first advert going out in a big running magazine at the end of this month. There is a 'Why Wear A Good Sports Bra?' article in the June issue of  Womens Running and I am having an advert that I hope will boost my sales. I still truly believe there is no competition for the Enell Sport.

I have also persuaded my daughter to run the Race For Life with me this year with a friend of hers. What is the first part of training? Get them in a sports bra. Why do teenagers think they don't need a sports bra? The Sportjock range are fabulous for teens. They come in a variety of colours which appeal to the younger adult but also give fabulous support for the growing breast which can so easily be damaged. My daughter? She chose white. Her friend? She chose black. Just goes to show what I know about teenagers - absolutely nothing!

Saturday May 8th

Where does the time go? It seems like hours since my frustrations with the payment box, and I still haven't got any further with it. I am meeting my web man on Tues though so I hope he will be able to sort it for me.  In the meantime I spend all my days checking my order box to see if I can catch people before they go elsewhere. I really am passionate about this and so I am willing to go the extra mile for my customers. I feel I have eyes that look like a bushbaby.

I have had my first international order this week...excited? I sure was. "Ha Ha Ha - I've had a request from Tokyo!!!" while my teenage children look at me as if I have grown another head. Well, that is how excited I am about this. I love making changes to peoples lives and every single Enell Sport, Enell Lite, Sportjock Action, Sportjock Sport or D3 I sell I feel likeI am changing lives. I remember the days of holding onto my boobs in the jumping part of the aerobics class - not any more.

Tuesday 4th May

What a lovely bank holiday - not! As usual in Britain we had a cold and wet time. We should be used to it by now shouldn't we? I worked it anyway so it didn't matter to me but I felt sorry for all those who had attempted to get away to the coast - I think North Cornwall was the only place that had some nice weather.

I have also awoken to find a major problem on my site which is leaving me feeling a little traumatised I must admit. Something has ''popped up'' that makes customers think they can't pay by switch! WHAT???? This was not there originally and I have wondering why I have been having so many abandondoned shopping carts. I have had so many orders for the Enell that didn't go through I had to investigate y trying to buy another one myself. Yep...it's a fault. Sorry to all you out there - you must think this company is blooming useless. It will be fixed today, if I have to spend all day on it. The joys of being a small business.

So there you go - I am just a tiny person in this huge industry, trying my best to get the best sports bra for the big bosoms known and easily available...I feel like I have had a tiny failure. Positive Mental Attitude - Come and Get Me Now Please!

Sunday April 25th

What a great day for a marathon - cool but dry. I have run the London marathon twice and both times it was amazing. It is the Sheffield half today aswell and I will be at the end handing out leaflets trying to encourage all the women to get the best support. If you are a runner you need a good running bra, whatever your size. If you do high impact you need a high impact bra, whatever your size. If you o low impact you need a low impact bra, whatever you size. So here I am back on my soapbox, sorry ladies but I am so passionate about it.

I have been trialling a new sports bra for I can't say who. Ladies, if this bra gets much better then it will be the best sports bra ever. It is going to be fabulous and will take the sports world by storm. I thought the Enell and Sportjock were the best but this one will beat them hands down. Watch this space!

Friday 9th April

Good morning to all you beautiful ladies. I have had a lovely week eating chocolate and then trying to lose the 3lbs it put on my hips. Thankfully any weight I put on doesn't go on my bust, that is way big enough already thankyou. I have had my sister to stay with me who runs so I have introduced her to the Enell. She hasn't a large bust so is ony a size 0 but she was so impressed she bought 2 - yay, result.

I have also had my mum in law to stay. She is great. Irons, cleans and generally leaves my house looking like a show home. It feels like luxury - for a couple of days and then it goes back to normal. Pigsty! She had breast cancer last year though and her hair has now grown back, but really curly, like a white afro. I actually gave her a hair cut while she was hear to tame it a little. She has had trouble finding a mastectomy bra though, or any bra that she can get on and off easily without pulling on the scar tissue. Out came the Enell Lite. It really is a fantastic bra for this type of surgery. She was amazed at how easy it was to put on and the suport it gave her. She has been left with two different shaped breasts and the nodes in her armpit have been taken out. She has been offered corrective surgery but feels she has gone through enough so I put her in the Enell Lite in a tighter size and because one boob is squashed a bit and the other fills the cup she actually looks like they are both the same size now. Another result!

The Enell Lite is a great bra for the older woman as it is soft and doesn't feel so constricting. It also has enough support to hoist the boobs back up to where they should be and the wide back encourages good posture. I love this bra and wear it myself for teaching pilates classes and when I do sports massage. Great support without the wires digging in.

Thursday April 1st

Lots of extra classes this week as I am covering for others luckier than I am in getting away for Easter. High impact aerobics this morning - old style - no choreography, just hard core jumping up and down. Saw two ladies afterwards and introduced them to the Enell after getting them to look in the mirror at their boobs during the class. I didn't pick them out, obviously, but they knew who they were. I am happy when I feel I am making a difference. I see people everywhere and want to run up and give them a card. If the boobs are bouncing ladies then you are doing damage to the ligaments that support the breast. That damage is IRREVERSIBLE. Even if they are small, support is still needed. That is why Sportjock do the Action bra. So many ladies come up to me and say "I don't need one, I haven't got enough to support." If they are big enough to move then you need a sports bra ladies. I feel I can not say it enough.
